In
order to navigate the Library's new automated system you must use
a password. On your initial visit to our site your password will
be the last four digits of your telephone number. Thereafter you
will be asked to create your own personal password. The Library
will not have access to your password. Should you forget your password,
please call the library & we will reinstate the last four digits
of your telephone number as your password. Then you will, once again,
be asked to create your own personal password.

The
Easton Library participates in the Interlibrary Loan system (reQuest)
and provides access to materials at all participating libraries.
If Easton Library doesn't own the item you need, you can send an
online request asking us to borrow it for you through interlibrary
loan. Your request is sent directly from the online reQuest Catalog;
all you'll need to have is your library card. See below for step
by step instructions.
How to
Place an Interlibrary Loan Request
- Go to the
reQuest link on the Main page or the Adult Reference page of the
Easton Public Library website.
- Follow the
instructions to search for materials.
-
Items available for loan from participating libraries will have
"reQuest online lender" in parentheses in their listing.
-
When you have found the items you need, click on the "Interlibrary
Loan" link located at the top or bottom of the page.
-
Fill in the form.
-
Fields with capital letters are required fields.
-
Please enter your entire library card number in the library
ID field. If you do not have a library card, please contact
the Easton Library.
-
Please note that the "Password" field is only for
your personal use in tracking your request online. It is NOT
created or maintained by the Easton Library. Simply enter any
easily remembered combination of letters and numbers, and you
will be able to follow your ILL request through the process.
If you forget your password, your request will still be processed,
but you will not be able to track it online. Use the same password
for all your requests so that you can view their status at the
same time.
-
When
you have completed the form, click on the "Submit Request"
button at the bottom of the screen.
- The system
will then tell you if your request has been accepted.
Assistance is
available by calling Penelope at the library, 261-0134.
