Collection Spotlight: Playaways

Do you love audiobooks but are you tired of dealing with CDs or streaming issues? Why don't you try a Playaway?

What is a Playaway?

A Playaway is a pre-loaded device that houses a full, unabridged audiobook. Simply plug in headphones and listen away. Do you travel a lot? The Easton Library loans out a connector that will allow the Playaway to play through your vehicle's speaker system.

One of the benefits of Playaway is it's simple to use design. You can pause the audiobook whenever you like and pick up right where you left off. It is also portable, so you can use it while exercising or doing outdoor activities.

The Easton Library has Playaways available for Adults, Children, and Teens. Come on in and ask the staff about Playaways and how they can bring a new experience to your reading.
