Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 10am-5pm, and Saturday from 10am-3pm for Curbside Pickup only.

Curbside pickup for all patrons is still available Monday through Friday from 10am-5pm, and Saturday from 10am -3pm.  Please limit to one request of up to ten items per week.

Patrons can call the Library at 203-261-0134 or email a request to Please provide your preferred method of contact, so we can reach you in a timely manner when your materials are ready. Hold requests cannot be placed using the catalog. Requests must be made to us by phone or email.

When the materials are ready, a staff member will notify the patron and assign a time slot for the pickup. Materials will be placed in paper bags, labeled by last name. The bags will be placed on tables in front of the Library. Only one person at a time should approach the tables to pick up their materials. All patrons picking up curbside materials must wear a mask and must be asymptomatic, and also follow social distancing guidelines. In inclement weather, the materials will be left on the table in the Library's front lobby.

Patrons should return their items to the outside book drop. Please make sure there is only one person at the book drop at all times, and maintain a distance of six feet or more. Any fines accrued during this time will be forgiven, and the Library Board of Trustees has adopted a new policy to eliminate fines, on a trial basis, from now until December 31. The fines policy will be reassessed at that time. Patrons will still be responsible for the replacement cost of lost or damaged books.

Please be aware that any materials you return will remain on your record for at least 3 days. This will allow us to quarantine the items for 72 hours before checking them in and reshelving them. Fines will not be incurred.

We are also relaunching our Library to Go service for at-risk populations.
