Patrons are required to wear masks at all times and use hand sanitizer upon arriving

Curbside pickup and homebound delivery services continue for those who need them
All returns should be placed in the book/video drops, and all returned materials are quarantined for three full days before being checked in
Meeting Rooms are not available for booking at this time.
The Library has installed glass shields at the Circulation Desk and wall-mounted hand sanitizers
at key service points throughout the building. Furniture has also been reconfigured to discourage
groups of people gathering. All staff members are wearing masks, and bathrooms and high-touch services are disinfected frequently.
Hours of operation are Monday - Wednesday from 10am-5pm, Thursday from 10am-7pm, Friday from 10am-5pm, and Saturday from 10am-3pm.
Curbside pickup for all patrons is still available Monday - Wednesday from 10am-5pm, Thursday from 10am-7pm, Friday from 10am-5pm, and Saturday from 10am-3pm. Please limit to one request of up to ten items per week.
Patrons can call the Library at 203-261-0134 or email a request to email@example.com. Please provide your preferred method of contact, so we can reach you in a timely manner when your materials are ready.
When the materials are ready, a staff member will notify the patron and assign a time slot for the pickup. Materials will be placed in paper bags, labeled by last name. The bags will be placed on a table in front of the Library. Only one person at a time should approach the table to pick up their materials. All patrons picking up curbside materials must wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
In inclement weather, the materials will be left on the table in the Library's front lobby.
Patrons should return their items to the outside book drop. Any fines accrued during this time will be forgiven, and the Library Board of Trustees has adopted a new policy to eliminate fines, on a trial basis, from now until December 31. The fines policy will be reassessed at that time. Patrons will still be responsible for the replacement cost of lost or damaged books.
Please be aware that any materials you return will remain on your record for at least 3 days. This will allow us to quarantine the items for 72 hours before checking them in and reshelving them. Fines will not be incurred.
The Library to Go service is also available for homebound residents.
