The Charlie Kirk Vigil was not a Library-sponsored event.

The Easton Public Library received many calls from concerned residents regarding the vigil for Charlie Kirk that took place Sunday afternoon at the 9/11 Memorial on the Library lawn. I want to clarify that this was not a Library-sponsored event. The organizer of the vigil received approval from First Selectman Bindelglass to hold it at the 9/11 Memorial, which happens to be located on the front lawn of the Library. The vigil was not organized, promoted, or endorsed by the Library.
