The service plan is provided by T-Mobile, so they will work anywhere there is T-Mobile coverage. Your Library Card Patrons must present a library card or photo ID in order to check out Library materials. Please let us know if your address or telephone number changes so we may keep your card updated and ensure you do not miss notifications of requested items. Library cards expire every three years. To renew your card, you will need to bring in your library card and a photo ID so we may confirm that your information is up to date. Through the borrowIT system, provided by the Connecticut State Library, you may use your library card to borrow materials from all public libraries in the State. Please ask us how you may take advantage of this service. Children’s Cards – Children under 18 may have their own cards at their parent’s discretion. Parents must be present to show their photo ID and proof of residence. Parents please note that children’s borrowing privileges are unrestricted and you are responsible for any fees they may accrue. If you wish to place a limit on the number of items or type of items your children borrow, please alert a staff member at the front desk. Library Card Application – To expedite the processing of your Library card, we now offer online registration. Once you’ve registered online, you will have 30 days to visit the Library with ID to receive your card. Your ID should show your current Easton address and can be a Connecticut-issued driver’s license, passport or a student ID. If your photo ID does not contain your current address, you will also need to show proof of residency, such as a mortgage statement, lease, or utility bill. If you do not come in to get your card within 30 days, your application will be automatically deleted from our database and you will have to re-apply. If you choose not to apply online, you can print out the application , fill it out manually, and bring it into the Library with your ID. HKMS Student Library Card Application -- The Easton Public Library has partnered with HKMS to help all middle school students access materials that will benefit their learning and entertainment. Parents, please help your child complete and submit this application form. By doing so, you give the Easton Public Library your permission to issue a library card to your child. Lost and damaged materials will still incur a fee. Cost for lost or damaged items will be obtained from the acquisition record. If the item is no longer in print, the Library Director will assess the cost. Donation of a new copy of the lost or damaged item, or of a reasonable replacement for a lost or damaged item that is out-of-print (“reasonable replacement” as determined by the Library Director) will be accepted in lieu of paying the replacement charges. The donated replacement copy must be in good, usable condition and in the same format (hardcover for a hardcover, etc.) Donated items must be received by the Library within 1 month of the mutual agreement between the Library and the cardholder. If an item that was reported lost and was paid for is found and returned in good condition within 6 months, the Library will refund the price of the item. However, if due to demand, the Library must replace an item before the 6 month refund period expires, no refund will be possible. Borrowing privileges will be suspended if a cardholder owes more than $10.00 in fees from any Bibliomation Library, or for any fees related to lost or damaged materials.

Room Rentals Conference Room Community Room Study Booth The Easton Public Library offers two meeting spaces, the Community Room (occupancy 100 ), and the Conference Room (occupancy 25 ), for community meetings and cultural activities. In addition, the Library has a study booth for work or study for one to two people. The daily rate for the Community Room rental is $150.00 and the Conference Room is $75. A $25 refundable damage/cleaning/key deposit per use is also required. If piano tuning is necessary, the Library will charge a $50 fee. There is no rental fee for non-profit organizations. Guidelines and restrictions apply. In accordance with Town policy, town facilities cannot be used for profit-making ventures. Museum Passes Check out a pass to a local museum or park, right here at the Library, with your Library card. Passes offer discounted admission. Hover over each logo to see the discount. Click on each logo to go directly to the website. Museum pass is free to adults with a current library card. Pass will be loaned out for 3 consecutive days from the Library Circulation Desk. Pass must be returned to the Easton Public Library Circulation Desk, not placed in the Book Drop. Pass is available on a walk-in basis only, no reservations are taken online or by telephone.
